Imke Ligthart wins the SO 2020 Award for her project Valley of the Moon, a photographic exploration she created during a journey to the Wadi Rum desert in southern Jordan.
With subtle interventions, she documents the traces humans leave behind, using the stark desert as a richly contrasting setting.
